Join us for a “Taste of Music” from the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, including a small ensemble performance and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Visit your Westside Farmers’ Market on June 8 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm to experience this unique program. Taste of Music is a program funded by MCACA New Leaders Arts Council of Michigan, Chelsea Community Foundation, Key Bank and Zingerman’s Community of Business.
An A2SO ensemble will perform at 5:30 pm. The A2SO Instrument Petting Zoo will be held for the duration of the market. Please note that instrument petting zoos may stop during and resume after performances.
Children of all ages and children at heart will have the opportunity to try out real violins, cellos, trumpets and clarinets. Child-sized instruments, along with trained “zookeepers” ensure that even the smallest child will have a successful first instrumental experience.
